Left largely in the condition it was found in a century ago by French explorers, Ta Prohm rapidly established itself as one of my favourite temples.

The incredible sight of huge banyan trees climbing out of the walls, breaking the stone with their huge roots was enough to get my jaw dropping from the outset.

The location of the opening scenes of 'Tomb Raider - The Movie' this temple was slowly being reclaimed by the jungle. Work to prevent the progress of trees and shrubs is underway, but the temple is destined to remain as it currently is - the 'Jungle Temple'.
