Alice arrived on May 13th...

April 16th 2004

We're back!

After a long leave of abscence for the web development side of life, I've finally pulled my socks up and got dirty with the keyboard and mouse. And I've done some web page updates too.

So, here we are - in sunny Old Bursledon (near the Hamble River) in our wee house, expecting an addition to the family any day... Junior is expected to join us on May 4th so stay tuned!

Isobel is looking fantastically preggers now, and I've gone grey and have a furrowed brow.

April 7th 2002

Hmm, seem to have had a few more problems with pages dying - fixed I hope...

Unfortunately, messages in the guest book have been irretrievably lost - abuse from Tom, Cat, Steve, Andy and a bunch of others has been wiped out, dammit.

Ho hum, Cambodia is complete. And Vietnam is in the works.

I've also added some new navigation buttons. Just for Isobel... And a new Contents page to assist you in finding stuff you haven't yet seen...

April 1st 2002

Fixed a fair few problems with blank pages and pictures of West Australia - sorry Phil, Vee and Tom!

Added South East Asia which includes a brief tour of Bangkok and a fair amount of the Cambodia tour.

Check out Isobel's guest page - some delicacies are just not for me...

March 2nd 2002

Rarely get a chance to update the site at present - connections are poor in SE Asia and there is much to see and do.

A few updates on Australia -
Our road trip with Tom Plum and Phil through Victoria including the Great Ocean Road and South Australia including a stay in a haunted house in the Barossa Valley.

A sneak preview of Cambodia has also been added.

February 14th 2002

Happy valentines day readers - and apologies for such a long absence from writting up the site. Many thanks for all the subtle (and downright rude) requests for me to update this sooner... I reckon its worth the wait (conceit is an asset all webmasters must embrace).

SO, at last, added New Years Eve - two parties in one, and the main reason this update is so late (I've only just recovered OK?)

Complete update of New Zealand section. This includes mums additions to the North Island and the all new South Island section where you can read all about such things as glaciers and bungy jumps.

On February 1st, Isobel and I said farewell and left Sydney and began a two week trip to Perth, West Australia.

The story of this epic journey will follow

Work in progress:
Road trip through Victoria and South Australia
Train ride from Adelaide to Perth
West Australia

We're off to Thailand tomorrow so stay tuned for the above and more!

December 26th 2001

Hey... Its Christmas!

December 18th 2001

Its back to Australia - and as we turn the corner on Christmas, and another new year looms large, Mum tells all in a superb guest entry.

As for my musings, well, its been a while readers - apologies. Virtually all barriers to getting the site updated have now been removed - PC issues, software crashes, lost data... now all that stands between you and the sordid detail is excessive quantities of wine, mince pies and barbequed prawns.

Stay tuned for updates in the next few days. And if I don't see you here before - have a very Merry Christmas!

November 19th 2001

Its into New Zealand - and the first few days of our tour: Glow worms, volcanoes and Maoris.

November 10th 2001

The town of Seventeen-Seventy

Pay a brief visit to Brisbane

And, crossing the Queensland border complete the trip South to Sydney

November 7th 2001

After a near catastrophic crash of Windows, we're back online and in catch up...

So, now Bill Gate's blue screens have been condemned for a week or two, do you fancy a few caustic anecdotes?

Try these:

The East Coast

Back to the Outback

Fraser Island

Now look, I'm still a little behind - and I'm not talking about my posterior... but making rapid progress.

Keep your comments coming in the Guest book.
